SpoPulse is a free, web‑based (and offline‑capable) timer, counter, and metronome designed for workouts, running, swimming, cycling, strength training, and any activity where rhythm helps.
I exercise occasionally. Swimming, cycling, lifting weights, and more. I don't do it daily, it's just something I do when I feel like it. I started back in middle school, and after all these years, it's still a part of my life. I do it to stay healthy, and it also helps me feel good about myself.
About a year ago I began using a metronome app to keep track of repetitive movements. It worked nicely. No need to count myself, and the beats helped me stay in sync. But the app had limitations unless I paid, and I didn't want to use the Play Store, so I couldn't make in-app purchases. After many months I decided to build my own web app. As a web developer, I could build it myself — and now I have something even better than what I originally wanted.
While coding, I added features I didn't even expect from the original app. What started as a simple metronome now includes timed sounds, workout tracking, and more—all without needing an account, installation, or payment.
This page isn't meant to teach you how to use the app — there's much more you can do, so see the other sections for details. Check the "How to Use" section and the introductory video for a quick tutorial.
I hope SpoPulse makes your workouts smoother and more enjoyable. Have a great day!
